About the Course

 

A Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV)
also called an underwater scooter or sea scooter —
is a motorized device that pulls a diver through the water
to increase range, reduce effort, and conserve breathing gas.

What It’s Used For

DPVs are popular in:

  • Recreational scuba diving
  • Cave and wreck diving
  • Technical diving
  • Search & rescue operations
  • Military swimmer delivery systems
